My experience was v good. I telephoned for an appointment, chose ring back as long queue ( meant I could get on with other things). Appointment made. FTF with Dr. Wood, who was so caring and professional. He really listened to me. I came away with a referral and medication that I got on the premises from the helpful and friendly pharmacy. I've come away feeling a whole lot better than when I went in. Thank you Cathedral Medical group.

Suggested improvements
Parking is often a problem as not enough spaces.

Once you get through you have to have a serious problem before you might get an appointment. I quite often wait till I am desperately sick before I try to get an appointment.

Suggested improvements
About a month ago I was referred to a Physiotherapist with a painful knee, a pain that has become progressively worse since 2016. Off course he gave me exercises which have now aggrivated the pain. I cannot put any weight on my knee without pain. I feel X rays might have been a better option.

I was asked to make an appointment to discuss the results of a blood test. I chose a remote appointment. The doctor highlighted a marginally high cholesterol count and recommended I take statins.

Suggested improvements
I was my choice to have a telephone appointment, but in the event a face-to-face appointment to discuss options and my specific needs would have been better. I think there was opportunity on the call to outline the causes of high cholesterol levels, advice on how to bring it down, and whether I could monitor it myself. Taking tablets for the rest of my life is not something I want to do. I was provided with links to information about statins, and told there would be the oppoetunity to discuss it with the practice before making a decision.
